Chris Lam Sam’s Silly Funny Christmas Songs For Kids features festively funny guest performances from iconic New Zealanders including beloved children’s TV star Suzy Cato, multi-award-winning singer Jackie Clarke, and Zed frontman and Aotearoa Music Award winner Nathan King.
Packed with playful songs about gingerbread, the North Pole and not being able to sleep on Christmas Eve, the album celebrates the silliness and joy of the holiday season.
Chris says, “I’m a huge fan of Christmas, so writing songs that celebrate my favourite time of year and working with so many talented musicians was a dream come true. These are songs kids, families and teachers can sing along to together… or even rock out to the album’s heavy-metal Christmas track!”

THE FUNKY MONKEYS
Before releasing music as a solo children’s artist, Chris Lam Sam co-created the children’s band The Funky Monkeys in 2003. Over the next seven years the band released four albums, two DVD’s and performed over 900 family shows across New Zealand.
